About Us
Focus On Renewal Sto-Rox Neighborhood Corporation (FOR) was founded in 1969 by community activists. FOR is an anchor institution and pillar agency in the western communities of Allegheny County. Focus On Renewal was established initially as an anti-poverty program serving the health needs of women and children at four McKees Rocks and Stowe Township locations. To this day, Focus On Renewal (FOR) supports the people in the community and surrounding neighborhoods through programs for all ages dedicated to developing healthy minds, bodies, and spirits.
Mission: Our programs and partnerships connect children, adults, and families with relationships, resources, and opportunities to develop and sustain a thriving community.
