    Salary Commensurate with Immigration Law Experience
     
    Ideally this position will be a full-time attorney although we will consider candidates who would like a temporary reduced billable hour requirement. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of business immigration law, including, but not limited to H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, TN, PERM, priority worker petitions, and other employer-sponsored petitions and applications, consular practice, and marriage-based family immigration.
     
    You will
    • Assist clients in a variety of industries obtaining and maintaining U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant status for employees and in designing and advising on immigration compliance systems.
    • Have a strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team.
    • Have superior judgement and the ability to effectively handle multiple projects.
    • Have the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of actions.
     
     
    As an Associate Immigration Attorney with our firm, you will:
     
    • Train and manage a team of paralegals.
    • Oversee all aspects of preparing and filing non-immigrant (L, H, TN, O, E) and immigrant (PERM, I-130, EB1a, b & c, I-140, I-485) petitions and applications with government agencies and consulates.
    • Speak with clients on a daily basis to provide updates on cases and new developments.
    • Attend USCIS interviews at the Pittsburgh Field Office
    • Stay current on business immigration law developments.
    • Advise clients on I-9 and E-Verify compliance and corporate immigration policies and strategies.
    • Counsel clients through the PERM labor certification process.
    • Build and develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
    Requirements
    • You need to have an active bar license and a U.S. earned Juris Doctorate (No foreign LLM). 
    • This is an onsite position in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, PA with the ability to work from home 1-2 days a week.
